my story

I"ll never forget the day my primary school teacher laughed when I said I wanted to go to Cambridge.


Academics never came naturally to me. I really struggled with reading and concentrating long enough to do my homework.

But when I started my A Levels at The Latymer Grammar, in North London, it changed my life. I fell in love with learning and saw what I was truly capable of. 

Applying to Cambridge felt scary. I wasn't from a family who had even been to university, let alone a top one. But grounded in my passion for Social Science, I had a go and to my surprise received an offer.

I matriculated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge in HSPS, 2002 and have never looked back. 

After graduating I have worked internationally (as a private homeschooler) and heading up London state schools, helping students like you, achieve academically and support them with their Higher Education journeys.

I believe with hard work, anything is possible and look forward to helping you with your ambitions!  

And just like that, I knew my job was to help others thrive.

My passion for teaching A Level English Literature is fueled by my Masters in Classical European Literature and transformative experience training at The Globe Theatre mastering Shakespeare. As both educator and examiner, I bridge theory and assessment, using insider knowledge of marking criteria to help these subjets come alive.

As a Sociologist, achieving the highest grade in the country during my own A Levels, I adore applying my degree in Social and Political Sciences to inspire younger students.

My passion for super selective universities stems from my own transformative journey to Cambridge, where I discovered both academic rigor and life-changing opportunities. Having worked as an international super tutor for a decade, I've guided ambitious students through the complex application process, combining insider knowledge with personalized mentoring. This experience, coupled with my subsequent dedication to the UK state sector, has reinforced my commitment to democratizing access to elite institutions. 

Now I help students like you go from confused and anxious to clear, empowered and confident.

Clementine helped my daughter with a submission for an MSc. The application process is exhaustive and, given the acceptance rate for masters' programmes is <10%, cannot in any way be taken lightly. Over six weeks, Clementine worked with my daughter to structure the application, providing guidance on the content and, crucially, being a grammar pedant. And as much as Clementine helped with the content, she acted as project manager, setting deadlines and ensuring progress was continual. All of this added up to my daughter being offered a place - truly fantastic outcome
